Host a Food and/or Fund Drive

Interested in holding a Food and/or Fund Drive for The Pantry? Individuals, corporations, schools, churches, community groups and other organizations can sponsor a Food and Fund Drive for The Pantry! You can hold a Food Drive to collect food, a Fund Drive to collect funds...or both!

We’ll provide guidance, resources, and ideas to make your drive easy, fun and impactful.Together, we can turn small contributions into big results for our neighbors in need.

Easy Steps for a Successful
Food & Fund Drive

1. Pick Your Format...

Decide what kind of drive works best: Traditional: Collect food and/or monetary donations online or in person. Themed: Tie your drive to a holiday, birthday, or special event. Challenge: Compete between departments, classrooms, or teams to boost participation.

4. We'll Reach Out...

After submitting a registration form, we’ll reach out to answer any questions you may have and gather information to help us create your custom Food & Fund Drive Kit.

2. Decide When...

Plan a one-day or multi-week Drive. We can help with graphics and posters to help spread the word.

5. Spread the Word..

Promote your drive using flyers, social media, email and word of mouth. We’ll provide graphics, posters and messaging to make it easy.

3. Let Us Know...

Fill out the brief registration form so we can cheer you on and help make your food & fund drive a success!

6. Collect Donations!

It’s time to collect food and/or funds for the food pantry. Funds can also be collected online, via cash or check. Make checks payable to: Between Friends Food Pantry 143 Main St. Sugar Grove, IL 60554

7. Celebrate...

Track your progress, share updates and celebrate milestones along the way. Social media shout-outs and pictures can keep energy high. We'll be cheering you on too!

8. Deliver Your Impact..

Thank your donors for their generosity and demonstrate the impact of their efforts by letting your donors know how much food and/or funds were collected.

9. Drop Off Donations..

At the end of your drive, give us a call or drop us an email to let us know how your event went and we'll share your impact and celebrate your success! We'll also confirm a date and time to drop off your donations or schedule a pick up if needed.

Next Steps

After submitting a registration form, someone from our team will reach out to answer your questions and guide you through the next steps, such as, where supporters should drop off donations and any special instructions. We’ll also make sure you’re equipped with everything you need: posters, social media graphics, a peer-to-peer donation page with QR code and suggested donation lists. Our goal is to make your drive simple to host, easy to promote and as impactful as possible.
