Background
Richard L. “Rick” Williams is a local attorney whose professional background includes both private law firm, in-house corporate counsel, and municipal experience. His clients include individuals, partnerships, not-for-profits, homeowners associations, units of local government, and small to mid-sized businesses on a wide array of matters including corporate, commercial and residential real estate, land use and zoning, estate planning and administration, and select civil litigation.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and his law degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
Rick has been an active participant in the Kane County community for over 30 years. He has coached youth sports, been a volunteer scout leader, is the former President of the Mill Creek Water Reclamation District, former trustee with the Kane County Regional Board of Education, the current serving Board Member for Kane County Board District 18 and also serves as Commissioner for the Forest Preserve District of Kane County. He resides with his family in unincorporated Elburn, Illinois.
